1.1. Eligible Products and Services
Our Price Match Guarantee Policy applies to all solar panel installations, battery storage, heat pump and other renewable energy solutions that we offer.
1.2. Comparison to Competitors
The competing price must be from a MCS certified and authorised renewable energy provider.
Providing a detailed quote for an equivalent product or service. The competitor must offer the same:
- System size (e.g., kW capacity)
- Equipment (e.g., solar panels, inverters, batteries, etc.)
- Warranties (product and performance)
- Installation services (including design, labour, and post-installation support)
- Certifications and compliance with local regulations and permits.
1.3. Price Comparison Validity
The competitor’s offer must be:
- In writing and presented at the time of your initial quote request from us or within 30 days after receiving our quote.
- Dated within the last 30 days before the request for a price match.
- Based on a full turnkey installation cost, not just individual equipment or labour rates.
2. Process for Submitting a Price Match Request
2.1. Submission of Proof
To qualify for a price match, you must provide:
- A written quote or invoice from the competitor detailing the system, components, and costs.
- Contact information for the competitor so we can verify the authenticity of the quote.
2.2. Verification
We will verify the competitor’s quote to ensure it meets our eligibility criteria. This may include contacting the competitor directly or reviewing public information about their pricing.
2.3. Response Time
We will respond to your price match request within 7 business days after receiving all necessary documentation and verification.
3. Exclusions and Limitations
3.1. Ineligible Competitors
The Price Match Guarantee Policy does not apply to:
- Prices from online-only retailers, auction sites, or marketplaces
- Unauthorised or unlicensed contractors, non-certified renewable companies, or third-party resellers.
3.2. Exclusions for Special Offers
We will not price match competitors’ prices if they are based on:
- Closeout sales, liquidation, clearance pricing, or discontinued products.
- Bundle offers, rebates, coupons, promotional discounts, or free offers.
3.3. Installation Differences
The Price Match Guarantee Policy does not cover:
- Differences in installation timelines, work quality, or customer service standards.
- Quotes that do not account for all applicable taxes, permits, or other required fees.
3.4. Geographic Limitation
The competitor must operate within a 100 mile radius of your installation site or within the same region/country.
3.5. Limit on Price Match Adjustments
Each customer may receive only one price match adjustment per project. We reserve the right to refuse any future requests if the competitor’s price significantly deviates from industry standards.
4. Amendments and Cancellation
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this Price Match Guarantee at any time without prior notice. Any changes will apply only to price match requests made after the change is effective.
